Most panel upgrades in the Gulf Coast area run between $1,500 and $3,500 depending on the size of the panel, the condition of your existing wiring, and whether permits are included. We give you a firm quote before any work starts — no surprises.
Most major electrical work — panel upgrades, new circuits, service upgrades — requires a permit in Mississippi. We handle the permit process for you as part of the job, so you don't have to deal with it yourself.
A 100 amp panel is standard for older, smaller homes with fewer appliances. A 200 amp panel handles the demand of modern homes with multiple large appliances, EV chargers, hot tubs, or home additions. If you're running a lot of circuits or adding high-draw equipment, 200 amps is the right choice.
Most EV charger installations take 2 to 4 hours. We run a dedicated 240V circuit from your panel to the charger location, install the charger, and test everything before we leave. Same-day installs are usually available.
Sometimes. If your panel has unused breaker slots, we can add circuits directly. If it's full, we can install a subpanel or — if the main panel is undersized — upgrade the whole panel to accommodate your needs.
Aluminum wiring used in homes built between about 1965 and 1973 can be a fire hazard if the connections have loosened over time. It doesn't automatically mean danger, but it should be inspected. We can assess your home and recommend the right fix — whether that's full rewiring, CO/ALR devices, or pigtailing.
Don't ignore it. A breaker that keeps tripping is telling you something — usually that a circuit is overloaded, there's a wiring fault, or the breaker itself is worn out. Call us and we'll find out which one. Resetting it over and over is not a fix.
We install transfer switches and interlock kits that let you safely connect a portable generator to your home's electrical system. For permanently mounted standby generators, we handle the electrical connection. Either way, we make sure it's done to code so you're protected during Gulf Coast storm season.
